Providence Birding Walk
Join an educator from the Audubon Society of Rhode Island and a ranger for a free birding walk through downtown Providence!
Meet at Roger Williams National Memorial Park near the Visitor Center and join the Providence Crosstown Trail to look for birds along the river as well as to keep an eye out for the raptors nesting in downtown Providence. The Downtown Providence River Greenway runs along the Blackstone Canal where the Moshassuck River and the Woonasquatucket River meet and head to the top of the Narragansett Bay.
This program is presented in partnership with the Audubon Society of Rhode Island and the Providence Urban Wildlife Conservation Partnership.

This event is free to attend.
Location
Limited free parking is available in the National Memorial's Canal Street lot. There is additional metered parking along both North Main Street and Canal Street. Both the main bus hub near Burnside Park and the Providence train station are only a few blocks away from the park. The RIPTA bus lines #51, 54, 58, 72, & R have stops on North Main and Canal Streets.
