Join Manassas National Battlefield Park and the Manassas Battlefield Trust for a special program to commemmorate Juneteenth National Independence Day.

This special program will provide visitors a special  behind the scenes look at of the construction of the Andrew Redman blacksmith shop in the historic crossroads community of Groveton. The program will include a discussion on slavery and freedom in Prince William County during the Civil War, information on Andrew Redman and the park's plans for the shop.

The project was made possible through an inclusive story telling grant from the National Park Foundation to our partners at the Manassas Battlefield Trust.  This grant will help tell the story of the diverse community of Groveton.
