Description
Join us for a virtual presentation by the Boone County Public Library of Kentucky as they present on their Legacy of Enslaved Mothers Project. This digital exhibit looks at the resiliency of enslaved women in Kentucky, highlighting stories such as Margaret Garner, a freedom seeker whose choices to keep her children out of slavery made national headlines.
This program is co-hosted by Levi and Catherine Coffin House and Boone County Public Library, listed as a site and facility on the National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom Program, respectively.
