Please meet out front of the Nature Center at least 5 minutes before the hike time, bring plenty of water, dress for the weather, and be prepared for a fun and enjoyable outing.
Description
This hike will depart from outside of the Nature Center, which is currently closed to a plumbing issue. There will be no restroom or waterfountain access on February 15. Please plan accordingly.
If the National Mall is America’s frontyard, then Rock Creek Park is America’s backyard. From before the park was founded, presidents have spent time on Rock Creek Park land. Join a ranger for a 2.75 mile hike and learn the ways that presidential history flows through Rock Creek.
