On Saturday, April 4, as part of the 158th anniversary of the Battle of Shiloh, we will host a vintage baseball double-header on the battlefield. Returning for their second year, teams from the Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball will open their season at Shiloh National Military Park. Four teams (TBA) will compete using the 1864 (Civil War era) rule-book. Visitors are encourged to bring lawn chairs.

The first game will begin at 11:00 am. The second game will commence around 2:00 pm. The games will be played at Duncan Field, Tour Stop #4. Rangers and volunteers will be on-hand to direct traffic and assist with parking.

Cannon firing demonstration will also take place during the day across the street from the Visitor Center. A Civil War U.S. Navy exhibit will be located on the front lawn of the Visitor Center.

All events are free and open to the public. Rain will cancel the programs. For more information call 731-689-5696.
