Description

Come celebrate Junior Ranger Day with San Francisco Maritime National Park. Junior Rangers of all ages can discover the maritime history of San Francisco through activities throughout the park.

We’ll be offering arts and crafts, miniature boatbuilding, scrimshaw tutorials, and other maritime demonstrations and activities at the Maritime Museum (900 Beach Street), Visitor Center (499 Jefferson St), and Hyde Street Pier (2905 Hyde Street).

At 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, and 2:30, our 15-minute Mermaid puppet show will be performing in the Maritime Museum.

From 11-12 pm, join a Maritime Ranger in learning about responsible fishing. You can earn a Junior Angler badge and ruler! Meet at the Maritime Museum.

From 1-2 pm, a Maritime Ranger will help you use augmented reality to see our Visitor Center exhibits in a whole new way. You can earn an Agents of Discovery badge and sticker!
