Description

Celebrate Indigenous People's Day at Castle Clinton! The tip of Lower Manhattan (or Manahatta) was once a center of Lenape trade and culture before Dutch colonization in the 17th century. In recognition of that history, Castle Clinton will be offering educational coloring pages all day which highlight traditional Delaware, Lenape and other Eastern Woodland cultures. In addition, tours of Castle Clinton will be offered at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 3:30pm.
