American Revolution Experience Exhibit

Homestead National Historical Park

  • Every week on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 9:00 AM from July 24, 2025 to August 07, 2025
  • Free

A traveling DAR exhibition will be installed at Homestead National Historical Park's Education Center from July 24-August 7, 2025. The exhibit, located in the Education Center, will be available to the public during normal visitor center hours of operation. It consists of 12 panels and is designed to be arranged in pairs that cover thematic topics raised by the individuals featured in the exhibition.

Examples include “Choosing Sides,” “On the Front Lines” and “Freedom or Slavery.”

Three touchscreen displays augment the panels – one will focus on the featured individuals, one highlights places connected to those stories that can still be visited, and one includes Trust-produced animated maps that offer deeper context by showing the course of the full Revolutionary War, as battles unfolded across the continent.

We're excited to add that Deborah Avery Chapter members plan to attend, dressed in historical clothing, on BOTH Saturdays (July 26 and Aug 2, 2025) of the event from 11am to 1 pm.
