Enjoy some of the darkest skies in the National Park Service while learning about the planets, stars, and deep space objects that make up our nighttime view. Follow along as a park ranger takes you on a tour of the Universe from the summit of Haleakalā, and share in the sense of wonder human beings have felt for millenia every time they gaze up at their night sky.

Location

This talk takes place next to the Haleakalā Visitor Center. The Star Talk is entirely outside, and attendees should come prepared with warm layers and something to sit or lay on.
