Discover Haleakalā by the light of the full moon. Join park staff at the Puʻuʻulaʻula (Red Hill) Observation Deck to learn about our connections to the moon and what it tells us about our past and future. Then take a moonlit stroll to see the lunar landscape of Haleakalā for yourself.

Participants should dress warmly for cold and windy weather and bring comfortable walking shoes, snacks, and water. Red lights are also recommended.

The program may be canceled due to inclement weather.
