Meet living historians at the visitor center and discover the lives of the men who fought at the Battle of Wilson's Creek on August 10, 1861.
The common soldier at the Battle of Wilson’s Creek relied on more than just his firearm. Drop by the Wilson’s Creek Visitor Center for a hands-on look at some of the items soldiers wore, carried, and even ate as they marched into battle.
Even view a musket firing and learn the steps it took to load and fire their weapon (weather and staffing-permitting).
