“The Torrent of Lead.”

Pea Ridge National Military Park will conduct the program, “The Torrent of Lead.” on Saturday, March 9th, at 2:30 p.m. near the Elkhorn Tavern (Tour Stop 8). Experience the sights, sounds, and smells of a small arms demonstration as living historians demonstrate the importance of battlefield tactics and the loading and firing of Muskets. Please consider the 25-minute driving time from the park’s entrance to the tavern parking lot in your planning. Please continue to be weather-aware for the day of the program. These Musket demonstrations use the using real gunpowder but no projectile. These programs are loud, and we recommend being aware of the loud sounds when attending with small children and animals.  Please continue to be weather-aware for the day of the program. All programs at the park are subject to change.
