Join volunteer Lily in the library for story time and craft. Lily will read Around America to Win the Vote: Two Suffragists, a Kitten, and 10,000 Miles, by Mara Rockliff, about the automobile tour of suffragists Nell Richardson and Alice Burke in 1916 to proclaim "Votes for Women!" across the country. Nell and Alice brought along a cat names Saxon. A discussion about what you value follows the story. Create your own Suffrage Cat to take along on your journeys.

No tickets or reservations required.
