Description
This public program is offered in partnership with the City of Independence's Historic Preservation Month.
Recognizing the 29th anniversary of her death, this program will highlight Mrs. May (Southern) Wallace, in her own words. This presentation will be offered at the Truman Home visitor center, 223 North Main Street, Independence, Missouri.
We will be spotlighting part of an oral history that Mrs. Wallace did for the National Park Service in 1983 and 1985. You will get to hear her own voice as she shares her memories of life beside the Truman Home.
