Junior Ranger Fishing Program
Big South Fork NRRA is encouraging school-age children to begin the summer season by learning to fish with a park ranger! On Saturday, September 13th at 10:00 AM at the Alum Ford River Access Area in Kentucky, a park ranger will introduce children ages 12 and under to the fundamentals of fishing. At the end of the program, youth will receive a fishing pole and the official Junior Ranger Angler Badge. Fishing items are limited to first-time participants only. Reservation for this program is required and space is limited.
This program is made possible by a Junior Ranger Angler grant from the National Park Foundation.
