See the Open Range come to life and see cowboys work cattle on horseback.  Branding was critical on the open range to be able to tell which cattle belonged to which cattleman.  Come witness this longstanding ranching tradition.

  • Watch a short cattle drive as the cows and calves are rounded-up by cowboys on horseback and herded into the corral.
  • Observe the teamwork between the horses and their riders as the cut the calves from the cows
  • See the cowboys on horseback rope and brand the calves.
  • Enjoy a variety of visitor programs and hands-on children's activities focused on branding and its history.
