Would fairies live here? Explore the forests of the Blue Ridge Parkway with an eye to how they work. How do the communities of the forest work together to make these beautiful places. What does live here? Where do we fit in the life of a forest? Join us to explore our shared forests.

This is a guided hike along the Visitor Center loop trail. The trail is an easy 1.4-mile loop with minimal elevation changes. We will start outside on the upper-level patio by the Visitor Center. If it is thundering, this guided hike is cancelled and replaced by a 20-minute talk in the Visitor Center.
