Winter Tree ID Walk

Without leaves, trees suddenly become much harder to identify. Learn some tips and tricks on how to ID a tree without leaves with a ranger on this walk through the park and practice identifying some of your favorite tree species. Meet at the Nature Center and be prepared with warm clothing, layers, comfortable and sturdy shoes, and a hunger for learning.

Walk may be cancelled in the event of bad weather at the discretion of park staff. Feel free to call the Nature Center (202-895-6070) the day of to confirm.
