When Concord militiamen arrived at Fort Ticonderoga in August 1776, they were quickly thrust into the rigours of active service. All were involved in constructing earthworks, and many were assigned to man the fort’s cannon against an imminent threat. Come learn about these methods of fortification and experience the devastating power of artillery.
