Lakota, Nakota and Dakota Heritage Village

Explore the history of the Black Hills and the American Indian tribes who have populated this land for thousands of years. This area highlights the customs and traditions of local American Indian communities through presentations given by Lakota, Nakota, and Dakota interpreters. Available in the afternoons during summer. Hours and days may vary. Please check with a ranger at the Information Center desk for availability.

Explore the natural, cultural, and historical aspects of Mount Rushmore with interactive programs. Open 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. daily early June through early August.
