Great! Park Rangers and volunteers at Rocky Mountain National Park's Wilderness Office are ready to help answer your questions. This is also where you will go on the east side of RMNP to pick up your Wilderness Backpacking Permit.

Overnight Backpacking in the Wilderness Requires a Physical Permit

If you (or someone else in your group) has made a reservation on Recreation.gov for a wilderness backpacking permit, then before starting your trip, the permit holder is required to stop at one of Rocky's Wilderness Offices and pick up your wilderness backpacking permit in person during regular business hours. 

On the east side of RMNP, the Wilderness Office is located near Beaver Meadows Visitor Center.
