This trailhead is at the intersection of Beach Drive NW and Broad Branch Road NW. The paved hiker/biker trail (Bike Trail #4- Glover Rd South to Beach Drive), Black Horse Trail and White Horse Trail intersect near this trailhead.
The Western Ridge Trail is blazed with green markings and runs from the DC/Maryland border in the north to Bluff Bridge in the southern section of the park.
