Often mentioned in official reports and contemporary accounts, the Tishomingo Hotel was a mainstay of life in Corinth during the Civil War. Occupying a prominent position in town at the crossroads of the Mobile & Ohio and Memphis & Charleston rail lines, the Tishomingo Hotel saw steady use from citizens and soldiers alike between its establishment in 1859 to its premature destruction in 1865.
