What's that sound? Water flowing over the rocks that stretch across Quantico Creek has eroded the landscape over time in this area. Though the cascades on this creek only drop 2-3 feet, the sound of water rushing over the large rocks that stretch across the creek belies the power needed to sculpt the drips and divets into this hard rock. Please do not cross the creek as Cabin Camp 4 (which is a permit required area) is just on the other side.
