Picnic Shelter/Pavilion, Picnic Table, Toilet - Vault/Composting

Enjoy a picnic lunch at our covered pavilion. The trail near the picnic tables leads to the Arbor Trail and Carriage Trail. The remains of the South Fork Dam are visible at the end of the trail near the South Abutment parking lot. Also visible from this area is the Visitor Center on the hillside that resembles a red barn. To get to the Visitor Center parking lot from the South Abutment parking lot, turn left on Route 869 and turn left onto Lake Road. Continue up Lake Road until you see a sign for the Visitor Center.
