Enjoy a picnic at one of the many picnic sites at Swinging Bridge. Although the swinging bridge was replaced long ago, there are still a dozen beautiful picnic areas with tables, fire rings, and grills.
The picnic area is just north of the American Fork River, make sure to watch kids carefully as the river can be fast and fierce.
The east end of the picnic area connects to the Canyon Nature Trail which is a quarter-mile, one way trail that ends near the vistior center.
There are several garbage cans and recycling bins located throughout the the area, make sure that you leave no trace when you're packing up!
Bathrooms and parking lots are open seasonally.
