South Slough Foot Bridge

A brown metal bridge extends over a still river, the reflection of the bridge visible in the water
A serene stillness between the meetup of two bodies of water can lead to reflections from the water.

Quick Facts

Historical/Interpretive Information/Exhibits

Where Colewart Creek enters the Netul River there is a beautiful calm to the area. Places like these, off of the main Netul River, are used by numerous species of fish in order to rest their weary fins and remain safe from predators such as the numerous Great Blue Heron and Bald Eagles that call the Netul River home.

While birds and fish are common sites here, as you cross the bridge you may be lucky enough to see River Otter or some of the other species that call this land home.

This location serves as stops 5-7 on the Restoring Nature Audio Tour.
