Only the paved boat launch is closed at this time. The gravel launch remains open.]The park constructed a 0.5 mile gravel road to a new launch location at South Cove. This gravel road starts from the concrete launch ramp. Use at your own risk. Sand and gravel at the launch may be soft. 4x4 recommended. This primitive launch can be used at lake levels above 1,035 feet.
The Temple Bar ramp is the nearest operational launch for boaters who prefer to launch on a sturdy mobile mat material over hard packed gravel.
The boat ramp at Pearce Ferry is for Grand Canyon river trip takeouts only. Launching watercraft is not allowed at Pearce Ferry.
The concrete launch ramp is currently closed and out of the water due to low lake levels. It can be used once the lake returns to a water level over 1,070 feet.
