Sims Pond is a small, man-made pond formed by and earth and stone dam and fed by Sims Creek. It was originally constructed as one of a series of ponds to be used for raising rainbow trout for Price Lake, but is no longer used for this purpose. It's a picturesque spot that serves as the trail head for the Green Knob Trail. The pond is located a short walk from the parking area.
