Begin the short, .2-mile stroll to the cave shelter once inhabited for thousands of years. This boardwalk trail is made of recycled materials, and makes an easy and smooth walk out to the cave shelter. The entire boardwalk is handicap accessible, and a wheelchair is available for use in the Visitor Center upon request. Here at the beginning of the trail as well as near the end, benches are available to rest on, however, there are no benches between these points, so please plan accordingly. A slight incline exists at the beginning of the walk, as well as another slight incline near the entrance of the cave. Handrails are present along the whole walk.
