A short trail through the forest to the edge of Ross Lake and the top of Ross Dam. The trail crosses Happy Creek and drops down from the highway to the impressive Ross Dam. 

  • Difficulty: Moderate. 
  • Distance and elevation: 1.5 miles (2.4 km) roundtrip with 500 foot (150 m) elevation gain
  • Access: The trailhead is at milepost 134 on State Route 20.
  • Leashed dogs allowed.
