Bill Clinton's parents, Virginia Clinton Kelley and William Jefferson Blythe, Jr., and his maternal grandparents, Edith and Eldridge Cassidy, are buried in a gated family plot at the Rose Hill Cemetery on N. Hazel Street in Hope, Arkansas.
The burial plot for the family is enclosed by an iron fence with a engraved plaque that reads:
"Burial site of William Jefferson Blythe and Virginia Clinton Kelly, father and mother of President William Jefferson Clinton. William L. Blythe was killed in an automobile crash in 1946 while returning home to Hope from Chicago, Illinois. Virginia Blythe Kelly died of cancer in 1994. Eldridge and Edith Cassidy, grandparents of President Clinton, are also buried here. Mr. Cassidy owned a small neighborhood grocery store, which was directly across the street from the cemetery. Mrs. Cassidy is remembered as a Practical Nurse in Hope.President Clinton lived with the Cassidy's the first four years (1946-1950) of his life."
