Depending on where you would like to visit inside Rocky Mountain National Park and what time of day you plan to arrive, you might need a timed entry reservation. There are two different reservation options available to choose from: Timed Entry + Bear Lake Road or Timed Entry.

For those interested in visiting destinations located on Bear Lake Road, like Bear Lake, Sprague Lake, or Moraine Park, then you will need a Timed Entry + Bear Lake Road reservation. With a Timed Entry + Reservation, you also have access to all other areas of Rocky Mountain National Park.

These timed entry reservations are required between the hours of 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. They are only available through Recreation.gov. Timed entry reservations are available in two-hour blocks of time and you must enter the park within your two-hour reservation window.

To check availability and to make a reservation, visit https://www.recreation.gov/timed-entry/10086910

Timed entry reservations cannot be made in person at Rocky Mountain National Park's entrance stations or visitor centers.
