Enjoy hiking the Boca Trail to Quaking Aspen Overlook for excellent views of the volcanic geology of the Raton-Clayton Volcanic Field! A short walk off the main trail, this overlook rests on top of a hardened lava cascade that originated from the lava flows of Capulin Volcano. In the distance, you'll see Jose Butte (on the left) and Robinson Peak (on the right), two other volcanoes to the west of Capulin.
