Named after the wide variety of pink flowers found by the settlers coming into the area, Pink Beds Overlook offers an expansive view into the large valley below of the small name.

Visitors arriving in the late spring and early summer have the chance to experience the sight of these flowers in bloom for themselves, namely the mountain laurel and rhododendron which grow prolifically in the region. Those wishing to hike in this valley can find trail access in the Pisgah National Forest.
