This visitor center is about mid-point of the Natchez Trace Parkway, at Tupelo, Mississippi. There is access to a short paved trail and the northern terminus of the Blackland section of the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail. The grounds are planted with native plants such as azaleas, oakleaf hydrangea, magnolias and oaks. Fourteen picnic tables surround the center. 

Information and a 16-minute movie is available during open hours, 9am-4:30pm, everyday except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. The visitor center may not be open during severe weather. Restrooms are on the side of the building. 

The Eastern National, America's National Parks bookstore if open from 9am to 4:15pm.
