Quick Facts

Scenic View/Photo Spot

A day hike or bike ride on the Palm Trail travels through scenic pastures scattered with relics from Kahuku's ranching history. It also traverses the eruption fissure from the devastating 1868 eruption of Mauna Loa. Here, ʻōhiʻa trees and other vegetation are still recovering, over 150 years later.
