The Paces Mill Canoe and Kayak Launch provides the last place for canoes, kayaks, rafts, and tubes to exit the river. During the summer this launch can be very crowded at times with floaters using their own equipment and floaters using rental equipment. Please be considerate of other users by moving your equipment off the launch area as soon as possible. If you are using rented equipment make sure it is turned in.

Water Quality

Be sure to check the Current Estimated E. coli count before putting in upstream. If the count at Paces Mill is greater than 235 you have an increased risk of getting sick. Contact with the river is NOT recommended.
