A series of boardwalks and bridges traverse a unique floodplain terrace environment and lead to the Great Falls Overlook. The overlook provides spectacular views of the Great Falls, as the Potomac River drops over 60 feet and continues through the Mather Gorge.

Trail is 1/4 mile in length (one way) from trailhead to overlook. Stay on the boardwalk. Dogs are not permitted. Boardwalk is handicap accessible.
