Old Point Loma Lighthouse Children's Bedroom

This historic lighthouse, gives us all a special place to step back in time.

As you leave the parlor room, on your left you will see a spiral staircase. The staircase takes you from the entryway to the second floor. Once at the top, you will see one bedroom to the left. This was a bedroom shared by all the children. It has two small beds (one slightly larger than the other), a desk for schoolwork and reading, a chamber pot, and a window that faces to the east. Not a lot of time was spent in this space as the children were active with chores, home schooling activities, and playing outside.
