Place
North Casemate, Orderly Room
Orderly Room This room was in the fort’s headquarters building which has not been reconstructed. Space was limited in the fort, and it was not uncommon for one room to have multiple uses. During the day, it served as an office for the fort’s commandant and as a staff room for the officers. In the evening, it could be converted to a dining room for the officers and serve as a place for their social gatherings.
