Smith Falls State Park offers a variety of amenities including camping, hiking trails, and public river access all included in the Nebraska Annual State Park Pass, $6.00 for an instate day-pass or $8.00 for an out of state day-pass.

Floaters and paddlers who wish to see the Smith Falls, the highest waterfall in Nebraska, can make a stop by the falls just a few hundred river-feet before the Nichols Landing. The Nickols Landing is a great launch-site too.

There is public parking at the landing and a turn-around. The landing is sand as is the road that leads to it. There is space to stage your equipment and we ask that floaters are mindful of other visitors getting on and off the river.
