Lava Beds Natural History Association (NHA) is a non profit and is organized and operated exclusively to pursue any and all charitable activities related to the following purposes and will

• Cooperate with the National Park Service in promotion of the historical, educational, interpretive and scientific activities of the National Park Service and Lava Beds National Monument, for the benefit and enjoyment of the public.
• Assist the National Park Sertice in stimulating interest in the above, through publication, purchase and sale of materials pertinent to Lava Beds National Monument and National Pakr Service.
• Assist in obtaining equipment and maintenance of library facilities and in the preservation of historic and scientific information.
• Assist Lava Beds National Monument in developing programs of park support, including volunteer activities, financial contributions, and pro-bono services.

Any person who has a sincere desire to advance the aims of the Association and who is willing to assist the Association in its endeavors, shall be eligible for membership upon application to the Lava Beds liaison person, C/O Lava Beds National Monument. The Board of Directors shall determine classes of membership and fees. Membership and fees shall be reviewed annually. Members maintain active members sale discount, voting right and newsletter subscription. Previous life memberships may be retained.
