Myrtle Point Park is a 192-acre park nestled on a peninsula that juts into the Patuxent River. The park is one of the most significant undeveloped tracts along the Patuxent River and is noted for its pristine shoreline, tidal wetlands, forests and documented archaeological sites. Some historic sites date back more than 9,000 years. The park provides a peaceful setting for a variety of recreational activities, including hiking, fishing, picnicking, wildlife watching and more.
