The Trail of the Whispering Giants
The Cherokee Chieftain, carved by widely acclaimed sculptor Peter “Wolf” Toth, was presented to the city of Cleveland as a gift in 1974. The Chieftain stands on the front lawn of the Museum Center at 5ive Points representing the region’s significant Cherokee heritage. Toth carved at least one statue in each of the 50 states. These works are collectively known as the Trail of the Whispering Giants.Site Information
