The Miscowaubik club was founded in 1903 and is named after a local Native American term for “Red Metal.” A former mine captain's house was turned into an exclusive social club frequented by the elite of the community and nation. Bowling, billiards, squash, and fine dining have been among the networking benefits available to members. The club has been active since 1903, hosting members of the Boston Brahmin and major industrialists.
