This entrance station is situated just inside the western boundary of the park, close to the towns of Study Butte and Terlingua. Visitors to the park can pay the entrance fee, purchase park passes and receive the park map and newspaper at this location. If park personnel are not present at the entrance station, visitors can pay the entrance fee and acquire a window tag at the Panther Junction or Chisos Basin visitor centers.
