Historical/Interpretive Information/Exhibits

Lono-ʽilikai, or “Lono-on-the-surface-of-the-sea,” stands directly over the area where the land and the ocean meet. Lonoʻilikai is a form of Lono associated with the rising of oxygen off the surface of the sea.
