The Johnson Ferry South Pavilion is located along the Chattahoochee River in Cobb County, Georgia. The pavilion is one of only three pavilions in Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.  

The pavilion is equipped with picnic tables and grills and is next to a small field. There is no restroom facility, potable, and electrical service at this shelter. The facility can accommodate approximately 175 people

The nearby gravel parking lot will accommodate up to 46 vehicles. There are two ADA-designated parking spaces.
