This area is the entrance to the Historic Hoskins Farm Site and is also the area where the British Army deployed for battle. The area you currently stand on is where the 71st Highlanders deployed then advanced againstt the American First Line. The Farm site would also serve as a headquarters and as a field hospital after the battle.
